unisync LDAP

This command triggers a group and associated users (as defined in UVMS) synchronization with the LDAP server. The latter is configured in the "LDAP ldap.xml configuration file (the file is described in "LDAP Configuration File").

The synchronization process is described in "Synchronization process with LDAP" section.

Syntax:

unisync LDAP [-help] [-info]

• -help

  Optional. Displays the command online help

• -info

  Optional. Displays LDAP synchronization information

If used without a parameter, the unisync LDAP command triggers the groups and users synchronization with the LDAP server.

Example 1: if LDAP synchronization is not activated:

unisync LDAP

Error, the LDAP synchronization is not enabled.

Example 2: if LDAP synchronization is activated:

unisync LDAP -info
